The Imaginate Festival is the UK's largest performing arts festival for children and young people. The annual Festival presents some of the most exciting performances from around the world at venues in and around Edinburgh and on tour in Scotland. The festival offers 15 fantastic productions for all ages from toddlers to teenagers. Every performance promises a new experience, strong emotions and a huge amount of fun. From a team of geologists who make a mysterious and wonderful discovery to tales of melting planets made of cheese; from Peter Pan and the Lost Boys to a wicked red dragon; from a girl so shy she lives underground to gentle journeys looking up into the night sky we will travel together and share dreams, hopes and many, many adventures.
For a festival of dancing, singing and performing entertainment, parents and teachers should encourage their children and students to attend this culturally fulfilling event. It is bound to excite, astound, fascinate and inspire all those who come to join in on the fun and laughter. Very few festivals accommodate performances that are exclusively for children. The Imaginate Festival gives the youth an event that they can call their own. |
